After working behind the scenes in the mortgage industry for several years, I wanted to utilize all the skills I had learned, developed and perfected through my 20+ years of experience working in various capacities with the public. I have 15+ years in the restaurant industry as a Bartender/Server (aka Manager, Schedule Coordinator, Chef, Inventory Clerk, Liquor Control, Mediator, Bouncer, Therapist, Spiritual Advisor). I briefly served on the Board of Developmental Disabilities and also have several years of experience as a Substitute Teacher, working with children of all abilities, ages K-12. These experiences have allowed me to develop a tremendous appreciation for the individual experience every person you come into contact with in life can offer to you and that you may be able to offer to them.
For the past five years, I have been able to maintain a work/life balance that works for my family and I at this time in my life. First and foremost, I am a mother to three beautiful boys who keep me on my toes-with a teenager, a "three-nager", and an infant running around, my life does not lack for excitement. As a Realtor, I am able to provide individual time to my clients on a schedule we can create together - giving us both the benefit of flexibility that is typically required in the Real Estate world!
As a Realtor, I wear many hats - researcher, negotiator, confidante, trusted advisor (marketer, advertiser, bookkeeper...the list goes on for the self-employed), but I truly enjoy finding the best solutions for my clients. Helping in whatever capacity I can and earning your trust while doing it- so that you are not only a customer for life, but can also be considered a friend.
Coupling my mortgage industry knowledge with the current Real Estate trends and hardships has proven very beneficial to myself, my clients and colleagues. I have been partners with Tim Hughes for the past 4 years, (the older, wiser half of Tim Hughes Consultants Group).
